Marco Di Nallo - REFURBISHING MODERN SCHOOL BUILDINGS
ARCHITECTURE OF EDUCATION
The talk presents, through some case studies, the deli-cate issue of preserving modern architectures for education. Although the use of school building remained constant, the rapidity of changes in educational theories, school programs and building standards made school buildings susceptible to major alterations or even demolition.
The conversation is arranged in collaboration with VGTU Faculty of Architecture.
The talk is held on Thursday, 8.00 p.m. at the National Art Gallery (NDG), Konstitucijos av. 22, Vilnius.
Entrance is free of charge.
