Having invited to carry out research in scale 1:1 of the Soviet and interwar architecture heritage of Vilnius and Kaunas organised by seven different routes and topics in 2010-2011, this year the Architecture [Excursion] Fund offers new directions of architectural tours visiting the most significant architecture objects representing the Soviet era and interwar period and located in eight cities and towns of Lithuania. The cycle of excursions “modernizmas.lt” presents eight public tours free of charge, the guides whereof, i.e. researchers of the Modernism heritage, historians and architects, will introduce to the distinctions of the architecture heritage of the 20th century.
