Discussion with Aušra Maldeikienė and Ernestas Parulskis - Sculpture economics
NON-COLOBORATION - ON SCULPTURE
Is it possible to consider sculpture in the city as an investment? It is not correct. However, if we decide to stay in the field of economics, other questions arise: who gets the sculptural "change", what is the rate of this symbolic interest, when and why the investment is considered as unsuccessful?
The talk is held on Thursday, 8.00 p.m. at the National Art Gallery (NDG), Konstitucijos av. 22, Vilnius. Entrance is free of charge.
Economist Aušra Maldeikienė and an art critic Ernestas Parulskis.
The texts of the book resulted from an analysis of art economics applying the facts and statistics gathered during a period of relative market stability: the boom caused by the Japanese buyers had already calmed down and the internet bubble had not yet exploded. The authors' insights that have already become history allow readers accept or reject the concept of “learning from history” once more.
