DANIEL KURZ - NEW EDUCATIONAL CONCEPTS AND THE SCHOOL BUILDING

ARCHITECTURE OF EDUCATION: COMMUNITIES AND INNOVATIONS

19
JAN 2018
Why the talk is inspiring?

More individual learning concepts as well as the desire to work in groups of changing size and composition has lead to a breaking-up of traditional floor-plan concepts over the last 10 years. «Learning landscapes» as well as «classroom clusters» are replacing the combination of corridors and classrooms. The lecture will showcase new school buildings and adaptions mainly from Switzerland, but also from Germany, and Scandinavia.

The conversation is arranged in collaboration with VGTU Faculty of Architecture.

The talk is held on January 19th at the National Art Gallery (NDG), Konstitucijos av. 22, Vilnius.

Event starts at 8 p.m. Entrance is free of charge. Lecture will be held in English.
