Kristupas Sabolius - Matter and form of the imagination

Kristupas Sabolius is a writer, an associate professor of philosophy at Vilnius University (Lithuania) an ex-Fulbright fellow at Stony Brook (State University of New York). Sabolius collaborated with Lithuanian theatre directors and wrote a few plays, contemporaneously conducting a philosophical research on the subject of imagination. In his research, Sabolius considers imagination as the point of intersections between phenomenology, psychoanalysis, arts, cinema, theatre or even neuroscience.
The talk is a part of “The Swamp Pavilion” - Lithuanian representation in 16th International Architecture Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia.
The talk will take take place on November 9th in the National Gallery of Art, Konstitucijos ave. 22, Vilnius.
