Yael Sherill & Christin Prätor - IMAGINING NEW SPACES FOR AN URBAN SOCIETY THROUGH ARTISTIC GUIDED TOURS

POWERS OF EXCURSIONS

22
OCT 2015
Why the talk is inspiring?

By 2050 66% of the world’s population will be living in urban areas. Today’s urban, individualised, post-industrial societies call for new habitats. The artistic guided tours presented within B_Tour utilise minimal devices, and the cheapest, most accessible and effective resource we have to rethink the spaces we inhabit: the imagination. The tours consider key principles of sustainability and the role of contemporary art including ecology, social justice, non-violence and grassroots democracy.

The talk is held on 22 October, Thursday, 8.00 p.m. at the National Art Gallery (NDG), Konstitucijos av. 22, Vilnius.

Entrance is free of charge.
