EVELINA OZOLA - HANDS–ON URBAN DESIGN
COLLABORATIVE PLACEMAKING
The work of Fine Young Urbanists is an ongoing exploration of communication to the public through hands–on urban design and collaborative Placemaking. I will present several small scale interventions in public spaces that have informed larger urban design or educational processes.
The talk is held on October 20th, Thursday, 7.00 p.m. at the Vytautas Magnus university (VMU), science and study center at Putvinskio str., 23, Kaunas.
Entrance is free of charge.

It describes the basic principles of how public spaces function and why they matter in a simple and attractive way. The book is easy to read, funny, and hasn't aged at all (despite being written in the 1980s).
