April 13 (Wednesday) at Kaunas Architects House second floor hall (Vilniaus str. 22, Kaunas) newly opened Nida Art Colony was presented by Kančas Studio..

Nida Art Colony or NAC is a new subdivision of the Vilnius Academy of Arts. The main forms of NAC activities are international workshops, summer schools, exhibitions, conferences, video screenings and the artistst-in-residence programme. 
In 2008 an architectural competition was held and the selected project came from the Kancas Studio. The reconstructed building (1.323 sq. m) houses five artistic residencies, student dormitory, three multifunctional spaces used for artistic and educational activities, roof terrace and a digital image processing lab.
